What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bath Tune Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if the Franchise Agreement is terminated, the franchisee must immediately remove the Bath Tune Up name, logo, and any other marks from the vehicle. The franchisee must also cease any further use of the Bath Tune Up name, logo, and marks.
This requirement ensures that upon termination of the agreement, the franchisee no longer represents or operates under the Bath Tune Up brand. This is a standard practice in franchising to protect the brand's integrity and prevent any potential confusion or misuse of the brand's intellectual property by former franchisees.
It is the franchisee's responsibility to bear the cost of applying the initial vehicle signage, as well as the cost of removing the signage upon termination of the agreement. Franchisees should factor in these potential expenses when considering the overall investment and potential risks associated with the Bath Tune Up franchise.
