What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bath Tune Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee or the designated manager must complete the Initial Training Program before the Operating Date. This training is designed to educate and familiarize the franchisee with the specifics of operating a Bath Tune Up franchised business.
The Initial Training Program includes virtual classroom instruction and practical training covering technical aspects, basic business operating procedures, and sales and marketing techniques. In addition to the Initial Training Program, franchisees must also participate in and successfully complete the "Four Week Pre-Training Program" and "Twelve Week Post-Training/Mentor Program," which are collectively referred to as the "Training Programs." These additional programs reinforce and supplement the initial training.
Before starting the Training Programs, if the franchisee is not the manager, the manager must provide a signed confidentiality agreement to Bath Tune Up. This agreement must be in the form included in the Manuals. Furthermore, if the initial franchise fee was not waived, Bath Tune Up will provide the franchisee with the BATH TUNE-UP® Start-Up Package at or immediately before the Initial Training.
