What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bath Tune Up Franchise Disclosure Document, if the franchisee is an individual, they may act as the manager of the franchised business. The manager is defined as the employee or agent of the franchisee responsible for the day-to-day operations and who has successfully completed the initial training program.
This is a common arrangement in many franchise systems, particularly for single-unit owner-operators. It allows the franchisee to directly oversee and control the business, ensuring that it aligns with their vision and goals.
However, the Bath Tune Up franchisee must still fulfill all the responsibilities of a manager, including dedicating their entire time and attention during normal business hours to the management, operation, and development of the franchised business. This means the franchisee must be prepared to work full-time in the business and not engage in other activities that would interfere with their managerial duties.
