What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bath Tune Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must employ or engage a full-time manager to oversee the daily operations of the franchised business. This manager is required to dedicate their entire time and attention during normal business hours to managing, operating, and developing the Bath Tune Up franchise. The goal is to maximize gross revenue while adhering to sound marketing and business practices. The manager cannot be involved in any other business activities that demand their active participation during these hours.
This requirement ensures that the Bath Tune Up franchise receives dedicated and focused management, which is crucial for maintaining brand standards and achieving financial success. The manager's responsibilities include not only day-to-day operations but also strategic development to increase revenue. This structure allows the franchisee, if they are not the manager, to focus on other aspects of their business or investments, while still ensuring the franchise is professionally managed.
For a prospective Bath Tune Up franchisee, this means factoring in the cost of a full-time manager when evaluating the financial viability of the franchise. However, if the franchisee is an individual, they may act as the manager themselves. The manager must also successfully complete the initial training program provided by Bath Tune Up. This training equips the manager with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively run the franchise, ensuring consistency and quality across all locations.
