What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bath Tune Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if there is sufficient room in an initial training class, Bath Tune Up will allow additional responsible management people designated by the franchisee to attend initial training. However, these individuals must have a demonstrable relationship to the management and operation of the franchised Bath Tune Up business. Prior to beginning training, each person must deliver a signed confidentiality agreement to Bath Tune Up in the form included in the manuals.

Bath Tune Up reserves the right to assess a reasonable charge for training additional attendees. Additionally, Bath Tune Up has the discretion to disallow any additional trainees from participating in field trips or vendor visits during initial training.

This means that while franchisees can send more than two people to the initial training, those additional attendees must be involved in the management and operation of the Bath Tune Up business. This requirement ensures that those attending the training will directly contribute to the success of the franchise. The confidentiality agreement protects Bath Tune Up's proprietary information, and the potential charge for training and restrictions on field trips/vendor visits are factors franchisees should consider when deciding whether to send additional personnel.
