What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bath Tune Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, 'Franchisee's Social Media' is defined as pages, communications, and content located on third-party platforms that use the Bath Tune Up Marks, as specified by the franchisor. The franchisor must be granted administrator access rights to the franchisee's social media accounts. All uses of the franchisee's social media pages and communication channels must be established and remain in compliance with the brand's manuals.

This means that as a Bath Tune Up franchisee, you are allowed to advertise and promote your franchise via social media, but you must do so on platforms approved by the franchisor and using the brand's specified Marks. The franchisor retains significant control over your social media presence, requiring administrator access and compliance with their manuals. This ensures brand consistency and quality control across all franchise locations.

Prospective franchisees should carefully review the Bath Tune Up manuals and any other written policies regarding social media usage to fully understand the franchisor's requirements and restrictions. It is important to maintain open communication with the franchisor and seek approval for any social media activities that are not explicitly permitted in the manuals or other written guidelines. Failing to comply with these requirements could result in penalties or other consequences as outlined in the franchise agreement.
