What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bath Tune Up Franchise Disclosure Document, Bath Tune Up acknowledges that it may have other franchisees in the same general area as a franchisee's showroom. In deciding whether to allow additional products to be sold from the showroom, Bath Tune Up may consider the interests of all franchisees. This means that Bath Tune Up is aware of the potential for overlap and competition between franchisees and will take this into account when making decisions about product offerings.
Furthermore, Bath Tune Up may consider the effect that the transfer and the prospective transferees will have or may reasonably be expected to have on the reputation or business operations of the franchised business, the marks, or Bath Tune Up, or any of Bath Tune Up's affiliates when franchisees propose to make any other form of transfer.
In addition, if Bath Tune Up believes that the terms and conditions of any transfer would not be in the best interests of Bath Tune Up, the proposed transferee or the Bath Tune Up system, Bath Tune Up may refuse to consent to such transfer. This indicates that Bath Tune Up prioritizes the overall health and reputation of the franchise system when evaluating potential transfers of ownership.
