What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the No Show Fee is incurred under specific circumstances related to on-site visits or training programs. If Basecamp Fitness schedules an on-site visit or if a franchisee registers for a training program, a No Show Fee is applicable if the franchisee cancels, fails to attend, fails to have the appropriate parties attend, or fails to stay for the entire program.
The critical condition for this fee is the lack of sufficient notice. To avoid the No Show Fee, the franchisee must provide Basecamp Fitness with at least two weeks' notice of their inability to attend the scheduled event or training. The fee ranges from $500 to $1,000, depending on the trainer involved, or the actual costs of rescheduling, whichever is greater. Basecamp Fitness retains the right to increase this fee up to $1,500, or the actual costs of rescheduling travel, whichever is greater.
This policy is designed to cover costs incurred by Basecamp Fitness due to late cancellations or no-shows, ensuring that franchisees are committed to scheduled visits and training programs. The fee is due immediately after notice from Basecamp Fitness. Franchisees should be aware of this policy and ensure they provide adequate notice if they cannot attend a scheduled event to avoid incurring this fee.
