What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, ProVision, at its discretion and without prior notice, can suspend a franchisee's access to the server, services, or any part of them if ProVision believes the franchisee is violating or may be violating any term or condition of the agreement. Following such suspension, ProVision must promptly provide written notice to the franchisee, explaining the reasons for the suspension.
This clause gives ProVision broad authority to interrupt services based on their belief of a potential violation, which could create operational challenges for a Basecamp Fitness franchisee. The franchisee is then notified after the fact.
It is important for a prospective Basecamp Fitness franchisee to understand what constitutes a violation of the agreement and what recourse they have if they believe the suspension is unwarranted. This includes clarifying the types of violations that could lead to suspension and the process for resolving disputes related to service interruptions.
