What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Basecamp Fitness may require a franchisee to receive additional assistance under certain circumstances. These include situations where the franchisee is not meeting Basecamp Fitness's requirements, if Basecamp Fitness determines that additional pre-opening or post-opening assistance is needed, or if Basecamp Fitness decides that providing additional assistance is necessary to keep the System competitive or to correct any deficiencies at the franchisee's Basecamp Studio.

If a franchisee requires additional operations or customer experience training beyond what Basecamp Fitness initially provides, the franchisee can request that Basecamp Fitness send a representative to provide further assistance. However, Basecamp Fitness and the franchisee must agree in advance on the charges and the length of the visit. The current rate for this additional assistance ranges from $500 to $1,000 per day, per representative, plus the cost of travel, lodging, and meals, although Basecamp Fitness reserves the right to adjust this rate periodically.

If Basecamp Fitness determines that a franchisee is not maintaining the premises of their Basecamp Studio to a satisfactory standard or is otherwise failing to comply with any provision of the Franchise Agreement, Basecamp Fitness may order or accomplish the cleaning of the premises or designate a representative to assist the franchisee in fulfilling their obligations. The franchisee will be responsible for paying all costs incurred by Basecamp Fitness in doing so, as well as any fees set for providing the assistance. Additionally, Basecamp Fitness may make suggestions and give mandatory instructions to ensure compliance with the quality standards of the Basecamp Fitness system and to protect its goodwill and image.
