What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are multiple training fees with different due dates. The initial "Training Compliance Fee" of $2,000 is due immediately after notice from Basecamp Fitness if you or your coaches teach Basecamp Fitness classes without completing the required coaches training within the applicable time period. This fee includes a $500 fine and a $1,500 flat fee for a coach training course.
For additional coaches training after the first 12 months of your studio opening, the fee is currently $250 per attendee, plus costs of travel, lodging, and meals if the training is held outside of Basecamp Fitness's corporate offices or online. This fee is payable before training begins. Basecamp Fitness may increase this fee up to $500 per attendee plus associated travel costs.
Basecamp Fitness also offers "Additional On-site Operations Training" at a cost of $500-$1,000 per day per coach or operations staff member, which is due immediately after notice from Basecamp Fitness. This fee may increase up to $2,000 per day. This training is provided at your studio for 1-2 days by experienced Basecamp Fitness coaches and/or operations staff members.
