What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the monthly Technology Fee is paid to ProVision, an affiliate of Basecamp Fitness. This fee covers the support of certain components included in the Technology & Fitness Equipment Package.

The Technology Fee amount may be increased by Basecamp Fitness by up to 10% annually. These adjustments are compounded annually and are cumulative, which includes increases in any given year of greater than 10% to adjust for prior years when no increase, or an increase of less than the permitted percentage increase, was implemented. Billing for this fee begins when the Basecamp Studio starts its pre-sale phase, which typically occurs 60 to 90 days before the studio's opening.

It is important to note that the Technology Fee does not cover all technology-related expenses. Franchisees may still need to purchase additional technology and equipment not included in the Technology & Fitness Equipment Package. Furthermore, the fee excludes music licensing fees and third-party services such as fitness equipment maintenance, telephone, or internet service. Therefore, prospective franchisees should budget for these additional technology-related costs when evaluating the overall investment required to operate a Basecamp Fitness franchise.
