What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to purchase software from approved sources. Specifically, Basecamp Fitness mandates the use of a sole supplier for studio management, billing, payment, and scheduling software.

Basecamp Fitness also requires franchisees to buy certain technology services and software from ProVision, an affiliate. This includes technology, network hardware, security systems, iPads, tablet devices, computers, lighting, audio and video systems, and cloud-based technology, including a point of sale system, all of which are part of the Technology & Fitness Equipment Package that franchisees must purchase.

In general, all software and software support that franchisees purchase for use in their Basecamp Studio must meet the franchisor's specifications. Basecamp Fitness retains the right to designate single sources for required products and services, which may include themselves or their affiliates. If a franchisee wishes to purchase items, including software, from a non-approved vendor when a designated vendor exists, they must seek written approval from Basecamp Fitness, and the vendor may be charged a $300 review fee.
