- B. Renewal. You have the right to renew your Basecamp Fitness franchise for the Franchised Location for an additional five (5) year term, provided you meet all of the following conditions:

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must pay the renewal fee at least fifteen (15) days prior to the expiration of the initial franchise term. The renewal fee is $5,000. The initial term for a Basecamp Fitness franchise is six years.
To renew the Basecamp Fitness franchise, the franchisee must meet several conditions. These conditions include providing written notice of the desire to renew at least 210 days before the current term ends, complying with all agreements with Basecamp Fitness and its affiliates, and renovating the studio to meet current standards.
Additionally, the franchisee must present evidence they can remain in possession of the franchised location for the renewal term and sign a standard franchise agreement and a general release of claims against Basecamp Fitness. Failure to meet these conditions in a timely manner allows Basecamp Fitness to operate or license another studio in the protected territory and solicit the franchisee's members and customers.
