What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, prospective franchisees residing in California are not required to sign the Franchisee Questionnaire. The FDD explicitly states that if a franchisee is a resident of California, or if their franchise is located in California, they are not required to sign the questionnaire.

Furthermore, the document indicates that if any California franchisee does complete the questionnaire, it is against California public policy. In such cases, the questionnaire would be considered void and unenforceable. Basecamp Fitness Franchisor LLC commits to destroying, disregarding, and not relying on any such completed questionnaire from California franchisees.

This policy ensures compliance with California state regulations and protects franchisees from inadvertently violating public policy. Prospective Basecamp Fitness franchisees in California should be aware of this provision and refrain from completing the Franchisee Questionnaire to avoid any potential legal issues.
