What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, each Basecamp Fitness studio must obtain a minimum of 1,200 continuing engagement credits annually. These credits are earned through participation in various training programs and other activities within the Basecamp Fitness system, as determined by the franchisor.

If a Basecamp Fitness studio fails to meet the 1,200-credit requirement in a calendar year, the franchisee must pay a fee of $1.00 for each deficient credit, multiplied by the total number of Basecamp Fitness studios they or their affiliates own. This fee is then deposited into the General Advertising and Marketing Fund. The fee is due immediately upon notification from Basecamp Fitness.

For a Basecamp Fitness studio open for only part of the year, the required number of continuing engagement credits will be prorated to reflect the partial year of operation. This ensures that new franchisees or those who close their studios during the year are not unfairly penalized.

This requirement encourages franchisees to actively engage with the Basecamp Fitness system, stay updated on best practices, and contribute to the overall brand development. By participating in training programs and other activities, franchisees can improve their operational skills, enhance member engagement, and ultimately drive business growth.
