Training Fees
Before your Studio opens you and/or your Principal Operator and your Studio Manager must attend and complete to our satisfaction the New Franchisee Training which consists of: Presale Training, Launch Training, and Role-Specific Onboarding. Presale Training must be completed 90-120 days before your Studio is expected to open. Launch Training must be completed to our satisfaction 7-30 days before your Studio is expected to open and costs $3,000. You are also responsible for any travel and lodging costs you or your employees incur to attend these trainings. The Launch Training fee is due before the training and is nonrefundable. All of these trainings will be conducted in a virtual format, at your Studio, or at another location we designate, at our discretion.
Also before your Studio opens, your Fitness Manager must complete to our satisfaction the Coaches Training Course and Day in the Life Training. This training must be completed 45-60 days before your Studio is expected to open. This training will be conducted in a virtual format, at your studio, or at another location we designate, at our discretion. A minimum of 3 coaches must attend and complete to our satisfaction our Coaches Training Course. This training must be completed to our satisfaction 7-30 days before your Studio is expected to open. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Launch Training fee is nonrefundable. Before opening a Basecamp Fitness studio, franchisees, principal operators, and studio managers must complete New Franchisee Training, which includes Presale Training, Launch Training, and Role-Specific Onboarding.
The Launch Training, costing $3,000, must be completed 7-30 days before the studio is expected to open. Franchisees are also responsible for covering any travel and lodging costs incurred while attending these trainings. These trainings may be conducted virtually, at the franchisee's studio, or at another location designated by Basecamp Fitness.
In addition to the Launch Training, a Fitness Manager must complete the Coaches Training Course and Day in the Life Training 45-60 days before the studio opens. A minimum of three coaches must also complete the Coaches Training Course 7-30 days before opening. The cost for the Coaches Training is $3,000, and this fee is also nonrefundable.
Given that both the Launch Training fee and the Coaches Training fee are nonrefundable, prospective Basecamp Fitness franchisees should factor these costs into their initial investment and be aware that these fees will not be returned, regardless of circumstances.
