What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Jesse Jones's main responsibility is for the Coaches Training Course and coach development. As the Director of Programming and Education, Jesse has been with Basecamp Fitness since October 2021, but has worked with their predecessors since October 2012 and has 16 years of experience in the fitness industry.

Coaches Training is a crucial part of the initial training program for new Basecamp Fitness franchisees. The Fitness Manager, along with a minimum of three coaches, must attend and complete the Coaches Training Course to Basecamp Fitness's satisfaction. This training is conducted over 2-3 days and must be completed 7-60 days before the studio is expected to open. The total cost for this training for the Fitness Manager and coaches is $3,000, which is nonrefundable and payable before the training. The franchisee is also responsible for all travel and living expenses incurred while attending the training.

This indicates that Jesse Jones plays a vital role in ensuring that all Basecamp Fitness locations have well-trained coaches who can deliver the brand's workout experience. For a prospective franchisee, this highlights the importance of the Coaches Training Course and the need to budget for the associated costs, including the $3,000 training fee and travel expenses. It also suggests that the quality of coaching is a key element of the Basecamp Fitness system, and Jesse Jones is directly responsible for maintaining that quality through coach development.
