What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee varies depending on whether the franchisee is signing a standard franchise agreement or an area development agreement (ADA). For a single Basecamp Studio franchise, a new franchisee who meets the veteran requirements will pay an initial franchise fee of $38,250. To qualify for the veteran fee, the franchisee must be a current member of the United States military or a veteran who received an honorable discharge from a branch of the United States military.
For franchisees pursuing an Area Development Agreement (ADA) to develop multiple Basecamp Studios, the initial franchise fee structure is different. For 3 locations, a new franchisee meeting veteran requirements will pay $87,750. For 5 locations, this fee increases to $123,750. For each additional location beyond the initial 5, the franchisee will pay an additional $27,500 per location.
It is important to note that these discounts are offered at the discretion of Basecamp Fitness and can be modified or terminated at any time. The initial franchise fee is due in full when the franchisee signs the Franchise Agreement or ADA. Once paid, the fee is considered fully earned by Basecamp Fitness and is non-refundable. Franchisees should confirm the current fee schedule and discount availability with Basecamp Fitness before signing any agreements.
