What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee for an existing franchisee depends on whether they are purchasing a standard franchise or entering into an Area Development Agreement (ADA). For a standard Basecamp Fitness studio franchise, an existing franchisee pays an initial fee of $37,500. This is lower than the $42,500 fee for a new franchisee.
For franchisees entering into an Area Development Agreement, the initial franchise fee varies depending on the number of locations they commit to develop. For 3 locations, the initial fee is $82,500; for 5 locations, it's $112,500. For each additional location beyond 5, the fee is an additional $22,500 per location. These fees are also lower than those charged to new franchisees under an ADA.
Basecamp Fitness offers these reduced fees to existing franchisees who are not in default under their existing agreements.
