What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Initial Franchise Fee is due in full when you sign the Franchise Agreement. Basecamp Fitness considers the fee fully earned once paid, and it is non-refundable. For a single Basecamp Studio, the initial franchise fee is $42,500, although this amount may vary.
Basecamp Fitness offers different pricing options for veterans, existing franchisees, and those signing an Area Development Agreement (ADA) to open multiple studios. If signing an ADA, the initial franchise fee is referred to as a Development Fee, which is paid in full for all studios you commit to open when signing the Development Agreement. This fee is also deemed fully earned and is non-refundable.
Prospective franchisees should be aware that beyond the initial franchise fee, other fees such as the Initial Retail Inventory/Retail Product Package, Compliance Drawings, Build-Out Package, Technology & Fitness Equipment Package, Technology Set-up Fee, Training Fees, and Grand Opening Program costs are also non-refundable. Understanding the non-refundable nature of these fees is crucial for budgeting and financial planning before committing to a Basecamp Fitness franchise.
