What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Basecamp Fitness Franchise Disclosure Document, ProVision provides Hosting Services to franchisees, which include non-exclusive electronic access to a digital information processing, transmission, and storage system (referred to as a "Server"). This service is intended for storing the franchisee's website (the "Site") and ensuring that the Site is accessible on the Internet.
It is important to note that the Hosting Services provided by ProVision do not encompass any website development services, authorship, or creation of the Site itself. The franchisee is responsible for the development and content of their website. ProVision's role is limited to providing the infrastructure to host the website and make it available online.
For a prospective Basecamp Fitness franchisee, this means they will need to either develop their website independently or contract with a third-party for website development services. The franchisee should factor in these additional costs and responsibilities when planning their initial investment and ongoing operational expenses. Understanding the specific technical requirements for the website to ensure compatibility with ProVision's hosting services is also crucial.
