What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Healthy Contributions (HC) is permitted to communicate with clients, including sending promotional advertising related to health plans or its services. HC may use email or other electronic methods to update clients on Fitness Incentive Program changes, enhancements, offers, and other pertinent information. This communication can include promotional advertising related to health plans and HC's services.

This agreement between HC and the client is non-exclusive, allowing both parties to engage with other businesses providing similar services. However, if the client intends to use advertisements or marketing materials that relate to Healthy Contributions or a Program Provider's trademarks, service marks, logos, or other commercial symbols, the client must obtain approval from both Healthy Contributions and the Program Provider's legal department before publication. Requests for approval can be facilitated through Healthy Contributions.

For a Basecamp Fitness franchisee, this means that HC can directly market health plans and related services to their clients. However, the franchisee must ensure that any marketing materials they create that reference HC or its Program Providers are pre-approved by both entities. This requirement aims to protect the trademarks and branding of HC and its partners, ensuring consistent and compliant messaging.
