What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Healthy Contributions (HC) acts as a payment processor and program administrator for Fitness Incentive Programs offered by various Program Providers. As stated in the agreement between HC and the client, HC has no independent liability to the client for reimbursements, fees, or payments owed by any Program Provider.
This means that Basecamp Fitness franchisees who participate in Fitness Incentive Programs through HC are not entitled to seek reimbursements or payments directly from HC if a Program Provider fails to fulfill its financial obligations. HC's responsibility is limited to disbursing funds received from the Program Provider to the client, as directed by the Program Provider.
The agreement emphasizes that HC makes no guarantees or representations regarding the level of compensation or profit a client may derive from participating in any Fitness Incentive Program. Therefore, Basecamp Fitness franchisees should carefully evaluate the financial stability and reputation of the Program Providers they choose to work with, as HC will not be held liable for their payment defaults.
