Does Basecamp Fitness grant franchisees the right to operate their studio anywhere other than the Franchised Location?

According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are specifically limited to operating their Basecamp Fitness studio solely at the Franchised Location designated in their agreement. The franchise agreement explicitly states that the rights and privileges granted are personal and cannot be extended to any other location.

This restriction means a franchisee cannot conduct Basecamp Fitness operations from temporary setups, alternative sites, or any location other than the approved Franchised Location. If a franchisee wishes to open additional Basecamp Fitness studios, they must enter into a new franchise agreement for each new location and pay the associated franchise fees.

Basecamp Fitness retains all rights not expressly granted to the franchisee, including the right to sell products and services under the Basecamp Fitness name through various channels, such as the internet and mobile applications, even within the franchisee's Protected Territory. This reservation of rights reinforces the importance of the Franchised Location as the sole point of operation for the franchisee's business.

The franchisee is also prohibited from using the Franchised Location for any purpose other than operating a Basecamp Fitness studio without the franchisor's written consent.
