What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to use their computer and software for various essential business functions. These include scheduling, member management, point-of-sale transactions, employee management and education, eCommerce, inventory management, business and payroll reporting, marketing, and social media integration. The software also provides access to Basecamp Fitness's online franchisee support center, ongoing product development, and online education resources.

Basecamp Fitness requires franchisees to purchase a Technology & Fitness Equipment Package from their affiliate, ProVision, which includes all the necessary technology equipment and systems. This package ensures that franchisees have the tools needed to effectively manage their studio operations and maintain communication with the franchisor and other studios. The cost of this package ranges from $100,480 to $127,430, including taxes, shipping, and installation, which are estimated to be approximately 40% of the package price. Franchisees also pay a one-time setup fee of $500 and a monthly technology fee of $799.

It is important to note that neither Basecamp Fitness, its affiliates, nor any third party is obligated to provide ongoing maintenance, repairs, upgrades, or updates to the computer hardware or software. However, Basecamp Fitness may require franchisees to upgrade or update their computer systems during the franchise term, potentially incurring additional license, support, or service fees. Franchisees are responsible for protecting their systems from viruses and hackers and are encouraged to use their computer systems primarily for business purposes.
