What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must participate in any business review calls scheduled by Basecamp Fitness corporate representatives. Furthermore, franchisees must provide accurate and complete financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, for their studio upon request and in advance of any scheduled business review calls.
This requirement ensures that Basecamp Fitness can monitor the franchisee's business performance and compliance with the franchise agreement. By participating in these calls and providing financial statements, franchisees maintain open communication with the franchisor and allow for collaborative problem-solving and strategic planning.
For a prospective Basecamp Fitness franchisee, this obligation means allocating time for regular business reviews and maintaining organized financial records. Failing to comply with these requirements could potentially lead to breaches of the franchise agreement.
