What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is only permitted to operate their Basecamp Fitness studio at the specific Franchised Location outlined in the Franchise Agreement's Rider. The agreement explicitly states that the rights and privileges granted to the franchisee are personal and cannot be used at any location other than the Franchised Location.

This restriction means a Basecamp Fitness franchisee cannot move their studio to a different location without the franchisor's approval, nor can they operate temporary or mobile units from alternative sites. The franchisee also cannot use the Franchised Location for any purpose other than operating a Basecamp Fitness studio without written consent from Basecamp Fitness.

This location restriction is a standard practice in franchising, designed to protect brand consistency and territorial integrity. For a prospective Basecamp Fitness franchisee, this underscores the importance of carefully evaluating the proposed Franchised Location before signing the agreement. If a franchisee wishes to operate additional locations, they must sign a new franchise agreement and pay the applicable franchise fees for each new location.
