What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must obtain at least 1,200 continuing engagement credits each calendar year their studio is open. These credits are earned by participating in various training programs and other activities within the Basecamp Fitness system.

If a franchisee fails to meet the 1,200-credit requirement in any year, they must pay a fee of $1.00 for each credit they are deficient. This fee is then multiplied by the number of Basecamp Fitness studios the franchisee or their affiliates own. For example, if a franchisee is short 100 credits and owns one studio, the fee would be $100. If they owned two studios, the fee would be $200.

The collected fees are deposited into the General Advertising and Marketing Fund. The fee is due immediately after the franchisee receives notice from Basecamp Fitness. The number of required credits is prorated for any partial year that the Basecamp Fitness studio is open.
