What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must obtain at least 1,200 continuing engagement credits each calendar year their studio is open. These credits are earned by attending training programs or participating in the Basecamp Fitness system. If a franchisee fails to meet the 1,200 credit requirement, they must pay a fee.

The fee is calculated as $1.00 for each deficient credit, multiplied by the number of Basecamp Fitness studios the franchisee or their affiliates own. This fee is then deposited into the General Advertising and Marketing Fund.

Importantly, the fee for deficient continuing engagement credits is due immediately after Basecamp Fitness provides notice to the franchisee. This means a franchisee should be prepared to promptly pay the assessed fee upon receiving notification of the deficiency.
