Before you begin construction of your Basecamp Studio, we will create a specific studio layout/design for your Basecamp Studio (a "Compliance Drawing").
If, however, you would like additional Compliance Drawing, you must pay us our then-current fee per Drawing.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Compliance Drawing is a studio layout/design created by Basecamp Fitness for the franchisee's specific Basecamp Studio. Before construction begins, Basecamp Fitness will provide this drawing to the franchisee. If the franchisee requires additional Compliance Drawings, they must pay Basecamp Fitness's then-current fee for each additional drawing.
The franchisee must supply accurate site information for their proposed location to enable Basecamp Fitness to create the Compliance Drawing. This information includes as-built drawings, surveys, technical data, construction documents, and site plans. The franchisee cannot begin construction until they receive written consent from Basecamp Fitness for their actual design.
The franchisee is responsible for developing their Basecamp Studio in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, codes, and the Mandatory Specifications provided by Basecamp Fitness, as well as the Compliance Drawing. This ensures that the studio adheres to Basecamp Fitness's standards and legal requirements. If the franchisee does not use Basecamp Fitness's designated architectural vendor for the Construction Documents, they may be required to pay a fee for Basecamp Fitness to review and approve the Construction Documents. For a franchisee's first Basecamp Studio, Basecamp Fitness may require the franchisee to obtain the Construction Documents from their designated architectural vendor.
