**Launch Training: You and/or your Principal Operator and your Studio Manager must attend and complete to our satisfaction Launch Training. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Launch Training program has a fee of $3,000. This fee is nonrefundable and must be paid before the training takes place. This training is a mandatory step in the opening process, as the franchisee and/or their Principal Operator and Studio Manager must attend and complete the Launch Training to the satisfaction of Basecamp Fitness.
The Launch Training is conducted over 2-3 days and should be completed 7-30 days before the studio is expected to open. The training may be held virtually, at the franchisee's studio, or at another location designated by Basecamp Fitness. In addition to the $3,000 training fee, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel and lodging costs incurred by themselves and their personnel while attending the training.
Basecamp Fitness does allow for waivers of the Launch Training in some cases. If a Principal Owner and/or Principal Operator has opened at least one Basecamp Fitness studio, and meets other requirements, they may be allowed to test out of Launch Training. This modification of training requirements is at the sole discretion of Basecamp Fitness. To be eligible to test out of the training, the Principal Owner and/or Principal Operator must have previously completed the Launch Training to Basecamp Fitness's satisfaction and passed the Studio Readiness Review.
