When must the confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement be provided to Basecamp Fitness for the Principal Operator, studio manager, and fitness manager?
Basecamp_Fitness Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
We do not impose any limitations on whom you can hire as your Principal Operator, but that person must complete our initial training requirements and all other training we reasonably designate, and that person along with your studio and fitness manager must sign a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement with you that meets our requirements and that you provide to us before they attend training.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Principal Operator, studio manager, and fitness manager must sign a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement. This agreement, which must meet Basecamp Fitness's requirements, must be provided to Basecamp Fitness before these individuals attend training.
This requirement ensures that all key personnel are legally bound to protect Basecamp Fitness's confidential information and trade secrets from the outset of their involvement with the franchise. This is a common practice in franchising to safeguard proprietary information and maintain brand consistency.
The franchisee is responsible for obtaining these signed agreements and submitting them to Basecamp Fitness in a timely manner. Failure to comply with this requirement could potentially delay the training of key personnel and, consequently, the opening or smooth operation of the Basecamp Fitness studio.
