What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Conference Fee covers registration for a Principal Owner of your Basecamp Studio to attend the Basecamp Fitness Conference. A Principal Owner is defined as a person owning a 10% or greater interest in your Basecamp Studio.
The conference fee is currently $439 for early registration, increasing to $659 at the Conference. Basecamp Fitness may increase this fee, but not to exceed $1,500 per registration. Payment of this fee is required for one Basecamp Studio, regardless of how many studios you open, even if you do not register for the conference.
This means that as a Basecamp Fitness franchisee, you must budget for this conference fee, even if you choose not to attend the conference. If you do not register for a Conference, Basecamp Fitness will bill you for the "early bird" minimum conference fee after the Conference. If you want a Principal Owner to attend the conference, you will need to pay the conference fee. It is important to note that the conference is typically held every other year, so this is not an annual fee, but it is a recurring one.
