What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Conference Fee does cover registration for a Principal Owner. The Conference Fee is currently $439 for early registration, increasing to $659 at the Conference, and may increase to a maximum of $1,500 per registration.
The FDD states that if Basecamp Fitness holds a conference, franchisees must pay the conference fee for one Basecamp Studio, regardless of how many studios they open, even if they do not register for the conference.
Payment of this fee covers registration for a Principal Owner of the Basecamp Studio to attend the conference. A Principal Owner is defined as a person owning a 10% or greater interest in the Basecamp Studio. If a Principal Owner does not register for a conference, Basecamp Fitness will bill the franchisee for the "early bird" minimum conference fee after the Conference.
