What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Basecamp Fitness retains the right to either approve or disapprove the site location you choose for your studio. You have 12 months from signing the Franchise Agreement to secure an approved location and open your Basecamp Studio.

Basecamp Fitness will provide you with specifications to help you evaluate potential sites and may offer recommendations. However, the responsibility of selecting a site and obtaining Basecamp Fitness's approval rests with you. Basecamp Fitness does not have any obligation to locate or secure a site for you.

In evaluating a potential site, Basecamp Fitness will consider factors such as the site's visibility, the location of competitors, its accessibility, and surrounding businesses. Basecamp Fitness recommends a studio size between 2,500 and 3,000 square feet. Basecamp Fitness will generally inform you of their decision within 30 days of your submission.

If you and Basecamp Fitness cannot agree on a site, it could delay the opening of your studio. This approval process is a standard practice in franchising, allowing the franchisor to maintain brand consistency and ensure locations have the potential for success.
