After your Basecamp Studio opens, any coaches at your Basecamp Studio who did not complete the Coaches Training Course must attend and complete to our satisfaction the Coaches Training Course. What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Basecamp Fitness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the $250 fee for the Coaches Training Course is nonrefundable. This fee applies to coaches who attend the training more than 12 months after the studio's opening date. The fee must be paid before the training.

This means that if a Basecamp Fitness franchisee has coaches who need the training after the initial 12-month period, they will have to pay $250 per coach, and this payment is not refundable under any circumstances. The franchisee is also responsible for covering all travel and living expenses incurred by their personnel while attending the training.

Franchisees should factor this nonrefundable cost into their ongoing operational expenses, especially when planning for staff training and development. It is important to ensure that new coaches are trained within the first 12 months of their hire date to avoid this fee. This policy is clearly outlined in the FDD, allowing potential franchisees to understand the financial implications of staff training after the initial period.
