What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bang Cookies's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, supplemental training may be required for franchisees or their operating managers under specific circumstances. Bang Cookies may mandate participation in and successful completion of supplemental training if a franchisee hires a new Operating Manager. Additionally, if Bang Cookies, in its reasonable business judgment, determines that a franchisee is not meeting the franchisor's operational standards, they may also require the franchisee or their Operating Manager to undergo supplemental training.
Franchisees are responsible for covering the costs associated with supplemental training. This includes a supplemental training fee of $300 per trainer per day, as well as reimbursement for travel and hotel accommodation expenses incurred by Bang Cookies, if applicable. These fees must be prepaid in advance of the training upon submission of an invoice by Bang Cookies to the franchisee.
Bang Cookies retains the right to approve or reject any request for supplemental training, exercising reasonable business judgment in the decision. Furthermore, Bang Cookies must approve all individuals attending and participating in both the initial Training Program and any Supplemental Training programs. All participants must qualify as either an Owner or Operating Manager and must have executed the Franchise Owner and Spouse Agreement and Guaranty or the Confidentiality Agreement, respectively, prior to training.
