What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Bang Cookies' 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be required to participate in supplemental training. If Bang Cookies agrees to offer supplemental training, the franchisee must pay a supplemental training fee. This fee is $300 per trainer per day, and the franchisee must also reimburse Bang Cookies for travel and hotel accommodation expenses, if applicable. These supplemental training fees must be pre-paid in advance of the training, upon submission of an invoice from Bang Cookies to the franchisee.

Bang Cookies may require this supplemental training if a franchisee hires a new Operating Manager or if Bang Cookies determines that the franchisee is not meeting their operational standards. The franchisor must approve all individuals attending and participating in both the Training Program and any Supplemental Training programs. All participants must qualify as either an Owner or Operating Manager and must have executed the Franchise Owner and Spouse Agreement and Guaranty or the Confidentiality Agreement before training.

This supplemental training fee is in addition to the initial franchise fee and other ongoing fees. It is important for prospective franchisees to understand the circumstances under which supplemental training may be required and to budget accordingly. The requirement for supplemental training is determined by Bang Cookies in its Reasonable Business Judgment.
