Computer System
You must purchase, license and use the computer, point of sale, business management, and ordering systems that we designate. Currently, the designated point of sale system that you must license and use is Square and as otherwise designated by us in the Manuals. You must purchase one configured and licensed point of sale hardware terminal. Additionally, you must purchase and maintain a computer system on-site at your Shop Location. Generally, you will be required to obtain a computer system that will consist of certain hardware and software and, among other things, you will be required to meet our requirements for: (a) back office and point of sale systems; (b) security systems; (c) printers and other peripheral devices; (d) archive and back-up systems; and (e) high speed internet access. The initial upfront cost of the point of sale and computer system that you will be required to purchase ranges from $2,000 to $3,000. You are obligated to install and/or access all required point of sale and software upgrades as recommended by the manufacturer of the computer and the licensor of point of sale system. You are responsible for hardware repairs or replacement of systems that are no longer covered under warranty.
