- Initial Training for Replacement Operating Manager(s) Your Operating Manager must complete, to our satisfaction, our initial training program. You will be required to pay our then current supplemental training fee for your replacement Operating Managers, currently $300 per manager per day for each replacement manager attending our initial training. What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bang Cookies's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training program is held at the Bang Cookies shop in Edison, New Jersey, as well as at a certified training shop also located in Edison, New Jersey.
For a new Bang Cookies franchisee, this means they (or their Managing Owner) and one designated manager must successfully complete this initial training program no later than 45 days before opening their shop. The program typically lasts around two weeks. While Bang Cookies doesn't charge an additional fee for this initial training for the franchisee and one manager, the franchisee is responsible for all travel expenses and employee wages incurred during training.
If a franchisee needs to send a replacement Operating Manager for training, they will be required to pay a supplemental training fee, which is currently $300 per manager per day. They will also be responsible for all costs incurred by the replacement managers while attending the initial training. Bang Cookies offers the initial training program no less frequently than quarterly and on an as-needed basis.
