What This Means (2024 FDD)

The 2024 Bang Cookies Franchise Disclosure Document does not explicitly detail employee resignation procedures. However, it does provide information regarding employee conduct and confidentiality.

Specifically, the FDD emphasizes the importance of protecting Bang Cookies' confidential information. Franchisees are required to ensure that their employees sign a Confidentiality Agreement (Exhibit 2) to safeguard trade secrets, methods, customer data, and other proprietary information. This agreement outlines the employee's obligations regarding the use and protection of confidential information, both during and after their employment. While the FDD doesn't outline specific resignation procedures, it does state that upon termination of employment, the employee must immediately cease using and protect Bang Cookies' confidential information.

Furthermore, the FDD outlines scenarios where a franchisee can face consequences for an employee's actions, such as a breach of the Confidentiality Agreement. Franchisees are obligated to notify Bang Cookies of any known or suspected breaches and take steps to prevent the dissemination of confidential information. This highlights the importance of having clear procedures in place for employee departures to ensure the continued protection of Bang Cookies' sensitive data.

Prospective franchisees should inquire with Bang Cookies about recommended employee resignation procedures, including any specific protocols for handling confidential information and ensuring a smooth transition. Understanding these procedures will be crucial for maintaining the integrity of the Bang Cookies brand and protecting its valuable assets.
