- Franchise Agreement Designated Territory Once you secure a Shop Location that we approve, we will define the Designated Territory for your Shop and include the geographic boundaries and/or a description of your Designated Territory within Schedule 1 of the Franchise Agreement. (Franchise Agreement, Article 2 and Schedule 1);

- Multi-Unit Development Agreement Development Area If you have entered into a Multi-Unit Development Agreement, we will designate your Development Area. The Shops to be developed by you must be located within the Development Area. Once you select a Shop Location that we approve within the Development Area, within the Franchise Agreement for each respective Shop we will define the Designated Territory and include the geographic boundaries and/or a description of your Designated Territory for each respective Shop. (Multi-Unit Development Agreement, Article 2). Our approval or disapproval of future Shop locations that may be developed under a Multi-Unit Development Agreement will be based on our then current site selection criteria;

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bang Cookies's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the geographic boundaries and/or a description of your Designated Territory will be defined within Schedule 1 of the Franchise Agreement. This is determined once you secure a Shop Location that Bang Cookies approves. If you enter into a Multi-Unit Development Agreement, the same process applies for each Shop within your Development Area.
Bang Cookies must approve the location for your shop. If a Designated Territory is specified in your Franchise Agreement, the shop must be located within that territory. If you sign a Multi-Unit Development Agreement, each shop must be located within the Development Area designated in that agreement, subject to Bang Cookies's approval.
Bang Cookies will review the proposed site and notify you of their decision. If a Designated Territory is agreed upon before you select a shop location, you must locate your shop within that Designated Territory, subject to Bang Cookies's approval. Securing an approved Shop Location and lease is required within 120 days of signing the Franchise Agreement. Failure to do so may result in termination of the agreement without a refund of fees if the default is not cured within 30 days of notice from Bang Cookies.
