What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bang Cookies's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training program is under the direction and supervision of the Regional Retail Manager and the COO. The trainers themselves must have satisfactorily completed the initial training program.
This means that new Bang Cookies franchisees will receive their initial training from experienced personnel within the company. This ensures that the training is consistent with Bang Cookies' standards and practices. The fact that trainers must complete the program themselves suggests a commitment to quality and standardized instruction.
In addition to the initial training, franchisees may also be required to participate in other training programs that Bang Cookies designates. After opening their shop, franchisees (or their Managing Owner) may be required to attend a system-wide training program at the affiliate-owned shop in New Jersey, with the franchisee responsible for all associated travel and accommodation expenses. This further training cannot exceed five days in any calendar year.
