What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Bang Cookies Franchise Disclosure Document, Bang Cookies retains the authority to designate the Business Management System. The FDD states that the Business Management System refers to the software, internet, web-based, or cloud-based systems, point of sale systems, and customer relationship management systems that Bang Cookies, in its reasonable business judgment, requires franchisees to use.
This means Bang Cookies has the right to determine and modify the required systems for the day-to-day sales, ordering, operations, and management of the franchised business. This includes the ability to designate specific software or platforms that franchisees must use for point-of-sale, customer management, and other operational functions.
As a prospective franchisee, it is important to understand that Bang Cookies maintains control over the technology and systems used within the franchise. Franchisees are obligated to use the designated Business Management System and may not have the option to choose alternative systems. This ensures consistency across all Bang Cookies locations and allows the franchisor to maintain oversight of operations and data management. Franchisees should inquire about the specific systems currently in use, any associated costs, and the process for updates or changes to the Business Management System.
