What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bang Cookies's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at the annual system conference is not mandatory. Bang Cookies may coordinate an annual conference for franchisees in good standing, but attendance is at the franchisee's discretion.
If Bang Cookies holds an annual conference, they may charge a fee not exceeding $1,500. Franchisees are responsible for all travel and accommodation expenses associated with attending the conference.
Bang Cookies also reserves the right to require franchisees (or their Managing Owner) to attend a system-wide training program, which would be held at their affiliate-owned shop in New Jersey. Franchisees would be responsible for all associated travel, lodging, food, automobile rental, and employee wage expenses. However, attendance at a System-Wide Training Program will not exceed five days in any calendar year.
