We generally do not own the premises of the Franchised Business, however in some cases our affiliates may hold a lease to the premises of the Franchised Business and sublease the site to you.
In some cases, we may receive information from the landlords of prospective locations from which you may wish to operate the Franchised Business which information we may pass on to you. We do not take any steps to verify the accuracy of such information and have no way to know if it is accurate or not. As such,
any information we pass on to you from prospective landlords should be verified by you before you rely on it.
The procedures for site selection will be applicable to all System franchisees.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bananas Smoothies Frozen Yogurt Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor generally does not own the premises of the franchised business. However, in some instances, affiliates of Bananas Smoothies Frozen Yogurt may hold a lease to the premises and sublease the site to the franchisee.
Bananas Smoothies Frozen Yogurt may provide information from landlords of prospective locations to franchisees, but they do not verify the accuracy of this information. Franchisees are advised to verify any information received from prospective landlords before relying on it. The FDD states that the site selection procedures apply to all franchisees within the Bananas Smoothies Frozen Yogurt system.
Bananas Smoothies Frozen Yogurt must approve the franchisee's selected site for the Franchised Business. They will evaluate the site based on the type of retail environment and demographic factors, including traffic density in the primary trade area. The franchisee must lease or acquire a location within a negotiated timeframe after executing the Franchise Agreement. Bananas Smoothies Frozen Yogurt will generally notify the franchisee of their approval or disapproval of a site within 30 days after receiving the necessary information. The franchisor's approval of a site does not guarantee the success of the business.
