For multi-unit franchisees, discounts are available for each additional location purchased, ranging from 20% off the initial franchise fee for the second location to 50% off for the fifth or more location. If the franchisee or Bananas Smoothies Frozen Yogurt terminates the Franchise Agreement because the necessary lease documentation has not been signed within nine months, a refund of 20% to 100% of the initial franchise fee may be provided, depending on the costs and expenses incurred by Bananas Smoothies Frozen Yogurt. A similar refund policy applies if the restaurant fails to open within six months after the site has been made available. However, these refunds are contingent upon the franchisee and their owners signing a general release satisfactory to Bananas Smoothies Frozen Yogurt.
