What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bananas Smoothies Frozen Yogurt FDD, the franchise fee of $22,000 is due upon signing the Franchise Agreement. This fee is generally paid in a lump sum, although the FDD notes an exception if a Deposit Agreement is in place.
For franchisees participating in the Area Development Program, which requires owning and operating a minimum of two locations, the payment schedule differs. In this case, one half of the total initial franchise fee for two Green Leaf's Beyond Great Salads and/or Bananas Smoothies & Frozen Yogurt franchised restaurant concepts in the Continental U.S. is due upon signing the Deposit Agreement. The balance of the initial franchise fee for the second location is paid upon signing the Franchise Agreement. For locations outside the Continental U.S. (Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Territories) the initial franchise fee is $35,000 for each franchised restaurant.
