What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bambu's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bambu does not provide any express or implied warranties regarding the products franchisees purchase. Specifically, Bambu disclaims warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. This means that Bambu does not guarantee that the products will be suitable for resale or meet the specific needs of the franchisee's business.
Instead, the products franchisees purchase from Bambu or its affiliates are subject only to the manufacturers' warranties. Therefore, franchisees must rely on the warranties provided by the original manufacturers of the products, not Bambu itself. It is the franchisee's responsibility to inspect all product deliveries on the day of delivery and report any inconsistencies, damage, or shortages directly to the applicable supplier.
This lack of direct warranty from Bambu places the onus on the franchisee to manage product-related issues through the manufacturers. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the manufacturers' warranty terms for the products they will be purchasing to understand the extent of coverage and any limitations. This is a common practice in franchising, where the franchisor often acts as a distributor and relies on the original manufacturers' warranties.
